Hi Cot, I don't think so, IMHO memory cards are like digifilm and the more they can get you too buy the better for the maufacturers - like expensive paper & cartridges for cheap printers they have to keep you buying stuff for your digicam. I used to buy lots of Hi-8 tape cause we transfered the edited version to VHS or CD. But kept the original Hi-8 cassettes. I often wonder what do these people have as backups if they loose the print, theres no neg to re-print and if you scratch the top of a CD its gone.....
