Brad, if you're talking about the FA, I have this lens, and I have used it
for portraiture. I was expecting a bit of the 'too sharp' look (not so nice
for females, and I normally use a softer lens), but it actually turned out
to be a very good choice. I used it with a simple light setup and got very
nice negs out of it taking pictures of my daughter.
