There�s a test of the 43 Limited in Foto Magazin 1/2003. Verdict: super, 5/5 stars.
Optical performance 9.6/10, mechanical 9.8/10. Practically no flare. Excellent
sharpness in the center, a bit soft in the corners at full aperture, good at f:4.
Vignetting at full aperture, stopped down OK.
Nikkor P 2.8/45 tests the same, except that it flares badly. Pentax does know coatings.
Carl Zeiss Tessar 2.8/45 gets 9.8 optically and 9.8 mechanically - with no flare, they
know coatings, too. There�s also a Voigtl�nder Ultron 2/40 ASPH which gets 9.2 and
9.8.
The 1.9/43 Limited seems to be a very good lens indeed.
