Doug, I've been thinking about a film scanner for my slides. I've been looking at the Canon FS4000 and the Nikon CoolScan 4000. Looking is all I'm doing because my cash situation doesn't allow me to do anything but. Anyway, could you elaborate on your comment about scanning artifacts? What are they? How do you deal with them?
