No. Someone claimed that his lack of knowledge about something proved some point (which escapes me). It was a complete meaningless statement. I don't know anyone who use Nikon. Interesting fact perhaps, but does it say something about Nikon? >then, it follows that I can > state that you are also ignorant seeing as how you don't know of any UK Pro > Photographer using a Hasselblad. Which was my point exactly. I came up with an equally stupid lack of knowledge that only says something about me and not about the issue at hand. Anyway, all of this was only straw arguments and I honestly don't know what the point was supposed to be. So I suspect it is just trolling. After all, why bother with someone who admits he know nothing about the 645 format discussing the very same issue? > I wouldn't be surprised if the Pentax Pro Share is 50% if you are talking > about the 6x7 - but I believe we were discussing the 645. As for Leica, well, they're out of > the ballpark and you're probably right when you say their share is > "miniscule". I'm refering to the simple fact that 90% of all slr sales are in the Rebel - F80 class. I've seen stated that less than 5% of all Nikon F5's sold was to professional users. The percentage follows. Around here, no professional photographer worth his salt buy anything in a store but deals directly with the distributors. They can give a pretty good answer of professional market share and are also familiar with statistics from other markets from within the organisation. Pl
