I also have the Lowe Pro Mini-Trekker and it has good qualities and bad. On
the good side, it carries a lot and is a backpack with rigid sides and
adjustable compartments. You have lots of places to attach stuff on the
outside, and like a hiking pack, you have a waist and chest strap you can
adjust. Since it is a pack, it doesn't scream "Hey, there's camera gear in
here! Steal me!" ....But, sometimes it does whisper that N**** is the devil.
Ha.

On the negative side, to get into it, you have to take it off and set it
down or place it on your lap to get at stuff on the inside. Trade-offs.

I also saw some Lowe Pro Nova 4 and 5 bags recently and they looked nice and
handy for gaining access from the top. They have the ability to have waist
straps attached and other accessories apparently.

I should stop reading these lists as I now want to go look at camera bags.
