I had a few shots left from new years eve, where I took my daughter to see the local fireworks http://www.wildcherry.com.au/showthumbs.php?p=new_year
She was scared of the noise and I tried to console her in one hand and grab some snaps of the fireworks with the other... With the few shots I had left thought I would stop by about 2 miles from my home to shoot some of the wild flowers that only bloom at this time of year. The are commonly known as Christmas Bells (Blandfordia nobilis) and are a member of the lily family. http://www.wildcherry.com.au/showimage.php?p=flora&im=Image1.jpg I had used Fuji Velvia for the fireworks and was happy with the results, but the xmas bells seem a little underexposed. You can see the results at http://www.wildcherry.com.au/showthumbs.php?p=flora Also in the bunch is a photo of my office http://www.wildcherry.com.au/showimage.php?p=flora&im=office.jpg Kind regards Kevin -- Please avoid sending me Word or PowerPoint attachments.
