listed on Robert Monaghan's mega 3rd party lens page. A fixed mount
multi-coated a TX-mount which seems to be single coated, (I say this because
I own one, nice lens internal focusing relatively light and compact), and a T-2
mount also probably single coated. If you're looking at the fixed mount and it
shares it's design with the TX mount which came out a couple of years after
the Fixed mount it is a fairly nice lens.
Fairly sharp stopped down to f8, a little prone to flair but it has a nice long
built in hood.
Relatively easy to use hand held but works best on a tripod.
I'd say $100.00 is a fair price, I paid a little more for mine in decent condition.

What can anyone tell me about the Screw mount Vivitar 400mm f5.6? I found one for about $100. Seems like a reasonable price to me for one in good condition. Anyone use one and comment on the picture quality?Jeff <*\\><
