I think anyone with an auto-loading camera should carry a leader puller. My MZ-5n mis-loaded on several occasions, and sometimes the leader goes right back into the cassette. To be honest, it might have been due to not paying close attention when loading, but everyone makes a mistake sooner or later. I don't think the MZ-S has done it more than once, if at all, but it's really handy to have the leader puller there when you need it.
