Saunders also makes a 4550 which goes for $2100 which has a longer
column and brighter lightsource. You can do 20x24 as opposed to 16x20.

I have the Saunders d6700, but I'm not too fond of it. Focusing is a bit
cheesy, and I've decided a color head is a PIA for b+w printing. I'm
planning to head up to b+h one of these days to play with the 4550.

I can confirm that the mixing chamber of the D6700 is styrofoam.

In addition to the enlargers Mike mentioned, there's the Kaiser series.
If I didn't want a 4x5, they'd be near the top of my list.

The only thing that makes me wary of Saunders enlargers is the inability
to align the heads. They're supposed to be "true" out of the box. I
guess you could always fiddle with the baseboard if it weren't...maybe
someone could address this issue. Maybe it's a non-issue.
