I have a 25 year old ME (with winder ME II and 3.5/35-105 SMC-A) and and I must say that it is a very reliable camera indeed (must be because it�s so simple). After about 20 years it started to underexpose a bit but that was cured with CLA - the only one it has had. It (and the winder, too) is very frugal on batteries, probably on its 3rd set ever.
