HAR! Bill's an honest man. I think the camera is most important for almost all of us on the list. If it wasn't we wouldn't be here talking about cameras, we would be out making pictures, and never mind what brand we used. Also, we would not waste money on more equipment, but spend it on film & processing.
Someone once said to me, "You seem to be more into cameras than you are into photography". Which is certainly true. If I had the money, I would have at least one of every camera I ever wanted. And, in fact I have had many of them at one time or another. Someone once told me he was a "serial collector", because he could not afford to have more than a few at a time and had to sell one to get another. That applies equally to me. There is nothing wrong with liking cameras, but we should be honest at least with ourselves about our motives. However, there is a part of me that sings when I make a good picture, and I do like it when someone knowledgeable admires my photos.
