Yep, it's be a good throw. Besides, I'm still broke from Christmas. I'm thinking of skipping the slide scanner altogether and going straight to DSLR when it arrives. This obviates the need for a scanner completely. Then I'll scan older trannies as the chance arises in the future. I have a couple of mates with slide scanners, but we live a long way apart, and are all pretty busy.

Cheers

Shaun

yeah Herb, I am still using this rather unsatisfactory (but nonetheless
effective) method. I suppose you haven't got a spare trannie scanner lying about you want to throw my way have you...:):):):)

Cheers

err, yes, i do, but it's a long throw to Oz. also, at 1950 dpi, probably
not worth the throw.

Herb....
