I found a German translation of a Garfield book a couple of years ago. Late last year I picked up the English version of the same book. Its quite interesting to read them both at once... maybe I'll pick up a few words of German that way. However I don't think German would be my first choice of a second language to learn. I'd love to see Calvin & Hobbes in another language, particularly some of the more philosophical Sunday strips.
