It's an ACTUAL EXAMPLE. She's a real person. She exists. I've known her for most of my life. And if you'll recall the original post, I stated that she refuses to switch to digital, because she is comfortable with her point-and-shoot camera, happy with her drugstore prints, not willing to learn how to use the new technology, and well enough off to spend the money she spends for film and processing without giving it much thought. That doesn't mean the potential for savings are not there. --Mike P.S. We (myself and her children and their spouses) also coerced her to send one of her snapshots into the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel Photography Contest last year, and she won first place. She may use a point-and-shoot and have drugstore prints made, but she's a more talented photographer than three-quarters of the gearhead equipment junkies who endlessly argue photo-theology on the Internet.
