Thanks for the info. I'm sorry that i was competing with another lister for
the equipment, but in return I'll give you my secret strategy which won the
auction for me. ;-)
I use an application (Auction Tamer) that lets me snipe and synchronizes
itself with the ebay clock so that I can bid with 10 seconds left in the
auction. That helps a lot, but for some reason I win a lot of auctions for
items I want (and that included this one) by deciding what my top bid is,
then adding $2.50 USD to it. Had I not done that, you would have been the
winning bidder. I don't know why this works, but it has, more often than
not. I am also glad to see that another Pentaxian agreed with me as to the
approximate bargain value of the items being offered :-)
