In our company - those two Help Desk folks would get a servere tongue lashing for spouting that type of stuff in a Help Desk Ticket. Like I always say - you can say whatever you want as long as it's not being recorded - but once you state something in an email or in a phone call (because who knows what's being recorded "for quality control purposes") you better be ready to stand behind what you said.
