Hi Gary
The FA 3.5-4.7/28-80mm is often much underestimated. It's not as sharp (or
as expensive) as the Tokina ATX Pro 2.8/28-70mm or the FA 2.8/28-70mm. But
you must make large slides (1,8m x 1.2m) to be able to see the difference (I
have tested it against the Tokina). I made a lot of very good pictures with
that lens. It's really good value for money. I don't know the F version,
but the F 35-70mm get very good reviews.
