//////// Agfa rules. It has great films, including slides, b&w and color negs, photo paper and chemicals, and every product is very well priced compared to competition (at least here)
I bought a few rolls of RSX II 50 & 100 from Aaron (the P67 Brother) for the fall colour shoot, but I found that unless the lab knows how to process it (Aaron did a great job) the end result is very muted and hard to scan.
The Optima on the other hand gets the proofs screwed up by the lab, but my scans from the original negatives need only a slight colour correction for a great reproduction.
Your pictures reminded me of the small apartment my family and I lived in 30+ years ago "en el barrio de Goes en Montevideo".For 20x20 you would reqire the services of a pro lab.//////// I'm lucky to be a customer of the best pro lab in my country (Buenos Aires Color). They do a great job with reasonable prices.
The night scene was a test gone bad. I had just picked up my GSW690III from Fuji Service earlier that day. The reason for servicing it was a defective "T" shutter speed.Check this site http://www.photo.net/photodb/folder?folder_id=266451 The fourth image was shot with the Optima II 100.
///////// Looks very good. I like the night scene
best.
I put the camera on a tripod and tripped it for a 10 seconds exposure. But at the end of the exposure I was convinced that the camera was still defective. So I turned the camera around and cocked the shutter (Fuji's way of ending a "T" exposure) to see if the shutter was operating.
It was. I ended up with these interesting streaks on the film.
Adios,
Jeff.
