My 28-105 S1 served me well for 15 years, but it tends to flare a bit. Is your Kiron a 67mm lens thread version?

Well I lucked out and replaced the Vivitar with the 28-105 Kiron varifocal. A little more reach. Same maker. Same outstanding quality...
