For all the excitement over Sigma's DSLR before it came out, no one seems to be interested in it now. Folks who typically spent big bucks on 35mm SLRs in the past want their DSLR to be able to use their Canon and Nikon lenses. No matter how cheap Pentax sells their DSLR it will only appeal to their existing user base.
