I have this lens that I use on a DSLR. It is well built and very sharp (although some would ask how on Earth I would know, not shooting on film ;-) but does flare like a teenager's trousers if the sun is anywhere except behind. I find it very versatile, but then again I'm using at a focal length of about 22mm and don't see the edges. I don't know how well it performs (real world) at 14mm.
