I have used a 500C and really enjoyed it. It's a wonderful camera and the
lenses are top notch. It fit well with my normal style of working. More
leisurely than using 35mm gear, but with a few extra film backs, a Vivitar
285 Flash, and a Stroboframe it becomes a great wedding shooter.

The only down side was, perhaps, the age of the lenses. Because Hassy is
the choice of so many pros, there's no way to know how much use the lens
shutters have seen, or how well they've been maintained. Some pros send in
their equipment every year or two for a CLA, and some just use it until they
start having problems and then just trade it in. You can't really tell from
the outward appearance how long it will work.

The lens and body must both be cocked in order to remove and replace lenses.
Get a Hasselblad "unjamming tool" from Fargo. You'll be glad that you have
it. It's easy to accidentally trip the body or the lens and get them "out of
sync". Yes, you can re-cock the body or the lens without the tool but a slip
can cost you a scratch in the rear element of a lens. The tool is built to
reduce the risk of slipping.

Those are the only "cons" that I can think of at the moment. Oh, if you at
least get a 500C/M you will be able to change focussing screens more easily
than with the 500C.
