Hi,

Sebastiao Salgado's Exodus exhibition has finally made its footsore
way to this quiet backwater, London, after years touring such megalo-cities
as Salford. It will be shown at the Barbican Art Gallery from 13
February until 1 June.

It consists of photos drawn from his books 'Migrations' and 'The Children'.
I went to see it in Brussels, but I will go again, probably several times,
while it is in London. If anybody wants to see it and would like some
company, please let me know and we'll see what we can arrange. It
costs 5 and 7. The exhibition, not the company, which is beyond
measure. Or valueless. <g>

The scale of the exhibition, and the nature of the subject matter,
make it a very exhausting experience, so it's worthwhile seeing it
several times. In fact, I did not go to the 'Children' part of the
exhibition in Brussels because my eyeballs were sore from looking at
the rest of the photographs.

Bob
