When I see the item on eBay, I will make sure to post a link to it on the
PDML. That way, you will be sure not to miss it. And you might even get
some useful comments on how valuable the item is and what price you should
pay and what would be a bargain. <g>

wanted. We are just too courteous.

Respectfully Bob, I am not entirely in agreement with your arguement here.
While letting another few hundred people onto an auction may be a bad thing,
I don't think it is as bad as you make it out to be. The first assumption is
that there will suddenly be another 400 people gunning for the same item
doesn't hold up. For whatever reason, we don't jump on every auction that is
posted.
If I am looking for a particular item, I dig around on eBay and see if I can
find it. Sometimes, after discussions on this list, I do go in search of
them on eBay.
If I am looking for it, I am going to find it, no matter how badly described
it is.

OTOH, I don't often post eBay links here, and I make a habit of checking bid
histories. If I recognize another PDML'rs handle, and it looks like more
than a marker bid, I don't bid on the item. Something else like it will come
along soon enough.
