You can create your own color space profile for your scanner using some
pricey software and calibrated targets:

Praxisoft's Wiziwyg works for flat bed scanners and printers, and pricier
version they have contain targets for film scanners:
http://www.praxisoft.com/buy/index.html (look for Kodak Q-60 IT8 Target
35mm).
