Steve, That sounds right to me. When I used PZ-1p's and you had a dial to spin for shutter and one for aperture, it seemed like two are necessary/useful. In reality, shifting one shifts the other. The one difference is in the case of over/underexposure control, you could specify whether the shutter speed or aperture were to shift. Don't see how you could do that with an MZ-S.
