Pentax makes a nice 5.5x (I think) loupe that's large enough to see an
entire 35mm negative, though it doesn't enarge as much as an 8x or 10x one
would. They also make a zoom loupe, with which I am not familiar.
Schneider and Rodenstock are also big names, though I know little about
them.
