I went on the rally in London yesterday for about 3 hours - long enough to be counted, but not so long as to get bored and stuck in the crowd. I shot a couple of rolls of Tri-X, but didn't get anything interesting. Oddly enough, I was the subject of a photo. I was changing the film in my M3, which is a rather fiddly operation, and a woman photographer crouched down in front of me to take a photo. I politely stepped aside so as not to ruin her shot, and she adjusted her position to include me, and asked my permission. I was amazed, so I said 'Fine, carry on', and got on with what I was doing ("was I candid enough for you?"). I must say I felt distinctly uncomfortable about being on that side of the lens. I don't think she can have been a very good photographer - she was using an old metal Nikon. --- Bob
