I am in New Orleans for the weekend. Last night I was in the French Quarter. They had a Mardi Gras parade along Decatur. Very political. Very interesting, to say the least.
Anyhow, I decided to shoot it since I was able to get to fairly close to the action. It was raining. I had been shooting earlier with an LX. I had dropped it off at the car earlier and decided to use the MZ-S in case I wanted to use the AF but mostly for the small flash available on the camera. I shot off two rolls of slides using the FA* 24/2. I kept the camera close to my body when I was not shooting, but for the most part the camera was out in the elements. Once I had shot those off I wiped off the lens and camera. I checked both for proper operation today. No problems. I know that the MZ-S is not sealed like the LX, but I do have to say that I have had it out in the rain a few times and it has yet to let me down. No big reason for this post, just putting in my few Pentax words on the list, Csar Panama City, Florida P.S. Afraid to see how many posts there are to the list when I send this.
