Ninty percent of what I sell are 8x10 prints, but I always order 8x12 prints. I am fortunate to have a great little one-hour lab close to my home that will do color and brightness correction for me at no charge. They will also zoom in when necessary, but that only works when the subject matter is centered (sorry about the rule of one-thirds). By ordering 8x12's I have the final choice of cropping as I wish. The best part is that 8x10s and 8x12s are the same price. When I first started this little enterprize, I had my prints made at "the best" lab in town. When I found out I could get better quality and service at my mini-lab for $4/print less it was a no-brainer.
