I was actually thinking if I could afford to give one of mine up to a good cause... :-) I was waiting until I got back home from New Orleans to figure this out. You will soon find out, can you ever have too many? I wish you great luck with it. I have heard the stories of unreliability of the LX. I have told my story before, but once again - I have five, one purchased new. I have only seen one with the 'sticky mirror' syndrome, a used one, the latest one I purchased. Mine have gone in for repair on occasion, but considering the hard use I give them I don't think it out of the ordinary, a couple have taken some tumbles with nary a problem. It is still the first camera I grab whenever I head anywhere. I have the option of taking a couple of screwmounts to the K100 to the MZ-S in k-mount. In my case it says something about the LX!
