There is no news from Asia yet for the new Pentax cameras. But, one interesting thing is that, Nikon has just announced the price for their new Nikkor AFS DX 12-24/f4G ED IS lens, which is designed specifically to serve the wide angle problem in APS-sensor size D-SLR. Guess how much is it?Supposed non-full-size DSLRs were only transition products, these wide angle lenses would become one of the most expensive buy because they would be useless when full-size DSLR became standard in the near future.
The list price is 162,000yen, i.e. approximately US$1350!!!!!!!
I don't think Pentax users are expecting this kind of price tag on the coming wide angle lens for the Pentax D-SLR.
