I'm considering this camera bundled with one of these lens. I would love some
opinions from people who have used them. I'm not really interested in the AF.
I'm very interested in how the manual focus works. I'm interested in how well
the spot meter works. I need a spot meter and won't mind a newer body. If the
spot meter in the camera is good enough I can avoid buying a stand alone spot
meter. How well do older lens work with this body? Everything from screw
mount on. I downloaded the manual from pentax.com and it seems that with the
screw mount I'd have to deal with stopped down metering and newer lens should
work even better. Is that acurate or can I expect some problems? How hard is
it to manually set film speed?
One final thing. Does anybody sell this for a reasonable price in Canada so I
can get the full warranty? The Pentax Canada website seems to imply I'll get
only a 1year warranty if I buy it from outside Canada.
