I propositioned something like this a year ago, only for the 645nII
instead. It made sense, at the time, in my own little world: Pentax
obviously views the 645 as being their professional camera line, akin to
the EOS1 and F5.. It would be an absolute killer of a camera: a 645 with
AF, IS, USM, and a digital back. The ultimate field camera.
