After reading the new *ist specs on dpreview.com, I've noticed something perculiar:
"...where the user can select one of 11 AF sensor points using the cross-shaped AF point selector on the back panel." They mention that the AF point SELECTOR is crossed-shaped, but no mention whether or not any of the AF sensors are. Any thoughts/comments???
