MSRP in Japan of *ist will be 65,000 yen. By comparison, MZ-L (ZX-L) was priced at 67,000 yen; and MZ-5n at 75,000 yen when they first came out. All these features, and below the initial price of MZ-L... I'm impressed! Pentax did not have very high expectation for the *ist though, the initial production was set at 10,000 units per month; same as MZ-L.
