I don't think I can match the other stories in this thread.
In junior high school I shot a few frames with a Brownie
while riding my bicycle. And I perched halfway up a wall in
high heels to shoot over folks' heads at a wedding reception
(which amused another photographer enough to take a picture
of me, and horrified the site staff). I was only a few feet
off the ground, but I guess the toehold thing in heels and
hanging onto a rafter looked more impressive than it felt.
I'm an acrophile, so I could very well see shooting from a
rock face or hanging out of a window or something in the
cards for me, but other than leaning out a 3rd story window
in my house to shoot fireworks over the harbour, I haven't
gotten around to doing much climbing since I started carrying
a camera everywhere.
