I just transferred tonight's take from that camera to the notebook and I notice
I'm now up to exposure number 7800 or so!
The main argument I have with this digital, as a digital, is that if I catch
something cute with it I can't submit it to the PUG.
As a camera I have some other issues with it. Its max sensitivity is ISO 400
equiv and the lens max aperture is 2.8, so it still leaves something to be
desired in the low-light department. Also the noisiness at 400 is similar to
the grain of a 1600 film. And the EVF is not good for manual focusing. And the
shutter lag ... ! but that can be tamed somewhat.
What I'm hoping is that this'll last long enough that I don't have to buy
another stop-gap before the Pentax DSLR.
