Maybe not. But we've got a lot of mech-weenies here. If you're out shooting a party where you want and need AF, then it probably wouldn't matter. These lenses are obviously not for technical work. They're for just shooting -- production work. Looking at the pics of them on the Pentax site, something stands out to me that raises a questions: There's a manual focus ring on the front of the J75-300, but I don't see one on the J28-80. Is this correct?
