Yes the reason I need a fast motor is for sequences! An Fast x sync for
fill flash obviously. The LX or MX can do 5fps but the x sync is not good
and the pz-1p 4fps is fine for some sequence work but in general too slow.
Plus I think it s a really ugly camera. A friend of mine who also uses
Pentax is going to get one though. I dont mind the 1/100 sync for fill
flash sometimes though, the blur it creates in action shots looks cool. But
yeah, even 5fps is a bit slow as well. Thumb through a skateboard magazine
next time you are at the magazine rack, you will see alot of sequences,
those are usually shot on F5's and EOS 1v's at top speed. You'll see alot
of fisheye too, its practically the normal focal length for skateboarding.

Hi Eric;
Nice skateboarding pix. I especially liked the last sequenced set. It
really
gave a sense of how they do that. I can see where a faster winder and sync
speed would be helpful as some of your images look like they could have
been
improved with some fill flash.
Keep up the good work.
