True, but the demand for them is extremly high. Pentax has never had the rep of the N*'s and C*'s. At least not in recent times.Partial point, here at least the Pentax used market has been tough, while TONS of Nikon and Canon ( and Minolta to ) gear are flooding the stores. Mind you this may change.
I started using Pentax with the Spotmatic and continue because of the glass, but in this day and age way too many people opt for the "name" because of the percieved "status" they bring. Too bad, they don't know what they are missing. IMHO. :-)
