Well, if you look at the photo of the two lenses, nose-to-nose, http://www.cetussoft.com/pentax/grn600-1.jpg , you should be able to see that the left lens (the A* 600/5.6) has a greenish tint (a light "mint green" color), compared to the right lens (the A* 300/2.8), which is indeed white. Or, if you look at the 600/5.6 against the white door, http://www.cetussoft.com/pentax/grn600-2.jpg , the lens barrel should appear greenish by comparison. No? Fred
