The adaptor is removed by pressing the spring and rotating. Often, it can be done with a fingernail. You can remove the spring, mount the adaptor to the lens and put the screw that holds the spring back onto the adaptor. It should then be long enough to jam the adaptor to the lens. If you are really brave, and if the lens mount will allow it, you can even file a groove into the lens mount to allow the lens to lock onto a K-Mount body. William Robb
