> is this a new version Gee, I don't know. My first thought was, if it's a Series 1 lens, then it's probably actually the 28/1.9. However, the nifty 28/1.9 has (I think) 58mm filter threads, not 72mm. Actually, I don't really see why any 28/1.8 would even need ~72mm~ filter threads. (???) Fred
