List prices on Starist - $319 Out at end of March BG-20 Grip - $79 Out A little after Starist. Starist D - $1600- This summer.
So now for the million $ question, where will the street prices end up?
My guess is $250 for the *ist and $1300 for the *ist D, just as predicted. The *ist is then a replacement for the ZX-L, same street price. This means that it will go up against Rebel Ti, N75 and Maxxum 5, interesting. When it comes to the *ist D the price seems a little bit high if the FAJ 18-35 is not included in the price, which I don't think it is, too bad. That means that the package will be around $1500 for body and lens which is the same as for 10D (without lens). Ok, a lens for the 10D would set you back a couple of hundreds more, but still to close for the general public.
