You are not missing anything. I've heard from sources that should know that the *ist and *ist D may not have full compatibility with older lenses. I have uttered some cryptic remarks to that effect before. However, the *ist D isn't finalized yet so if anyone want changes, STAR THE WHINING NOW! It might help P�l
