In other words they aren't taking advantage of the format, They're still selling
35mm lenses on a sub 35mm format. It's nice to have a longer lens but you can already
do that with Nikon, Canon, and soon with Pentax. I thought it was all about smaller,
lighter, (less expensive), kit for the equivalent of your 35mm system. I don't see that
with the Olydak. If I were going digital I'd already have the long end covered.

The diameter would be 56mm if the Olympus lens were "equivalent to" 300mm on
a 35mm camera. This is an actual 300mm lens, equivalent to 600mm.
