Hi Guys; I've been reading the *-ist D threads and I am amused at the complaint that the new cameras are not sexy enough. While I enjoy the tactile feel of a well machined camera, like the old Spotmatics, sexy is not a term that I associate with cameras.
However..... In keeping with the lists spirit of trying to help Pentax design their cameras, here are a few of my ideas on how they can make the * ist D more sexy. As this should be a group effort, feel free to add on ideas. Just remember that this is a family list so keep your comments "G" rated, or at least "PG-13". 1. Replace the AA's with D's 2. Add extra padding to the curves 3. Use gold trim on a black body as a blond in basic black is considered sexy 4. Taking a page from Cesar, perhaps covering the body in faux leopard skin. (got to be P.C.) Perhaps Pentax could make his and hers sexy bodies, so if some of our wonderfully talented ladies want to throw out their ideas, so much the better. Proving once again that I need to find a job ASAP as I obviously have too much time on my hands. BUTCH Each man had only one genuine vocation - to find the way to himself. Hermann Hess (Damien)
