Hi gang, a couple of focusing issues crossed my mind concerning both new cameras. The bodies have the new Safox VIII AF, but will they also have a AF motor stronger of as strong as the MZ-S? It would be nice if some MZ-S owner got a hands on with the film *ist and could compare the AF speeds.
If the manual focusing with the small viewfinder (95%, 0,95x APS size I guess) of the *ist D turns up difficult, one could always plug a viewfinder magnifier on it. The current Pentax models are 2x and crop the view but it making a 1,5x viewfinder attachment for the *ist D would be just about perfect... -Matti Etel�per� ps.
